 “Entrepreneur of the Year” Winner
Ecclestone Horse Transport Inc.

A business offering local, long distance, and overseas horse transportation has earned the title “Entrepreneur of the Year”, an award given out annually by Community Futures Ontario.

Kyle Ecclestone, owner of Ecclestone Horse Transport in, Queensville, Ontario, proves that having an innovative and focused attitude pays off, which ultimately enabled this entrepreneur to become the leader in his field.

Kyle has become an expert in what he does at only 26 years old by writing articles for various publications and helping the Ontario Equestrian Federation in creating educational videos that have been distributed to the membership. Because of the high caliber of care, animals transported by Ecclestone Horse Transport receive, he is continually asked to consult about best practices for equine care.

These entrepreneurs were chosen from several nominees, all successful businesses that received loans and counseling from CFDCs. Ecclestone Horse Transport won the prestigious award because of their innovative work. Ecclestone Horse Transport was nominated by the South Lake Community Futures Development Corporation.

“I think I am the keen example of if you follow what you’re passionate about, the success will follow. I grew up with a fond love of horses and naturally over the years I’ve been able to build two businesses within the industry that have been extremely successful”, said Kyle Ecclestone owner of Ecclestone Horse Transport Inc. “I encourage others to do what your passionate about, the success will follow and you can never go wrong doing something you love every single day”.
