The Atikokan SnoHo Club has been active in the community since 1966 and started The Circle Tour in 2005, which began with the hiring of an intern to research and develop a marketing plan.  The SnoHo Club hosts activities and initiates projects to increase the quality of life for their club members, community residents and visitors.  Their goal is to promote safe snowmobiling and tourism in Canada and the U.S.

The SnoHo Club maintains 500 kms of trail; they have recently installed new local signage.  They ran the Ont. Federation of Snowmobile Clubs public education program videos on safety and volunteerism at their volunteer appreciation awards.  The SnoHo Club approached District 16 and offered to maintain the former D112 trail south to the U.A. at Gunflint Lake. They also participated in the Minneapolis Power Sports show to promote Atikokan and Sunset Country as a premiere snowmobile destination.

They have won two awards:  the first was "2006 Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Award" for improving the quality of life for citizens of Atikokan; the second was the Ont. Federation of Snowmobile Clubs 2006 President Award for "Club of the Year", in which they competed against 247 other across the country.

The Club has received funding from Atikokan EDC in 2003, 2004, and 2005, along with their own fundraising in order to keep the club up and running.
