Call for Workshop Presenters
The 24th Annual CF Ontario Provincial Conference will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton in London, Ontario from Wednesday September 6th - Friday September 8th, 2017.
We anticipate more than 250 delegates from across Ontario and will provide an excellent networking and educational forum for everyone involved in this conference.
Please forward this Call for Workshop Presenters to any other individuals/organizations you feel could make a contribution to the conference. We are also seeking proposals for French language presentations, which will have simultaneous interpretation into English provided. Topic Ideas
We invite you to share your innovative ideas at the Conference by submitting proposals for presentations on topics such as, but not limited to the best practice standards of:
- New Lending Streams
- Community Partnerships
- Youth Entrepreneur Initiatives
- Creative Ideas for Small Budgets
- Social Media Basic and Advanced
- Community Strategic Planning
- Social Enterprise Innovation
- Mentorship
- Regional Economic Development Models

Presentation Specifications
Workshops will last approximately 95 minutes each with an audience ranging from 20 - 60 participants per session. There will be a minimum of 3 other workshops presented in the same time slot.
Submitting Presentation Proposals (you will be asked to answer the following questions in the online submission link below)
Your submission must include:
- The title of the presentation, presenter name(s) and organization(s), and the presentation description.
- A 50-word description of your presentation. This 50-word description will be used in all conference advertising literature. This is the also the information used to evaluate your submission by the workshop selection committee. Please ensure that it is clear and complete.
- All accepted presenters are asked to provide an electronic copy of their presentation for the conference website. This can be provided to CF Ontario staff at the conference or sent by email after the conference. Presenters are responsible for duplicating any handouts at their own cost if they wish to provide within their presentations.
