St. Catharines, ON – The sixth annual E-niagara Web Awards were held October 18, in St.Catharines.  The award for Best Tourism Website went to the new French language website, www.bonjourniagara.com.

“This award is a real honour,” said Web Designer Julie Johanis of JLM Studios.  “It was a great pleasure working with the clients, Tourisme Franco Niagara, Club 2000 Niagara, Tourism Niagara and Venture Niagara, in the development of the site.  We believe it is an excellent information source for all that Niagara has to offer to the French speaking tourist.”

The bonjourniagara.com web site highlights a variety of attractions enjoyed specifically by this traveler, such as information about the local wine and culinary industry, agritourism, cycling and accommodations to name a few.  This project was made possible by funding received from Industry Canada through the francommunautés virtuelles program.  Banner ads can be purchased for businesses that want to attract the francophone market.
