Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the online survey to evaluate our Conference in Thunder Bay.  More than 100 completed the survey, which will be very useful in planning our 2011 Conference.  Overall, the poll indicated that attendees found the Conference worthwhile and were well-pleased with the timing, length, organization and content.  A few things stood out – on the positive side:  Emcee Ron Kanutski’s Grandfather Teachings were very popular; the Aboriginal in Nature theme was certainly appreciated; networking time is important; and the Awards Program was highly rated.  On the negative side:  many didn’t enjoy Friday’s chicken lunch!  (And that message has been passed on!)  The numerous suggestions for future workshop topics will be carefully considered as we commence work on the 2011 Conference, planned for Niagara Falls.  Congratulations to Ellen MacDonald of Enterprise Brant, who was the winner the Conference Evaluation Contest!  Her name was pulled at random from 84 who entered the draw by completing the survey.  She wins a free registration and three nights’ accommodation at the 2011 Conference in Niagara Falls.
